Aleut Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification for 11 Entities

Chantilly, Va. – Aleut Federal, LLC (Aleut) announced today that it, along with ten of its subsidiaries, have been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification, an internationally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). ISO 9001 is one of the most widely used, and well-regarded standards in the world, with over 1.1 million certificates issued to organizations in nearly 180 countries.

Aleut Federal, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Aleut Corporation (TAC), was proud to receive its certification alongside ten of the enterprises’ subsidiaries as follows:

• Aleut Technologies, LLC (Certificate No.US4620C)
• Aleut Aerospace Engineering, LLC (Certificate No.US4620D)
• Aleut Information Technology, LLC (Certificate No.US4620E)
• Aleut Operations, LLC (Certificate No.US4620F)
• Aleut Logistics Services, LLC (Certificate No.US4620G)
• Aleut Management Services, LLC (Certificate No.US4620H)
• ARS Aleut Technical Services, LLC (Certificate No.US4620I)
• ARS Aleut Services, LLC (Certificate No.US4620J)
• Aleut Facilities Support, LLC  (Certificate No.US4620K)
• Aleut O&M Services, LLC (Certificate No.US4620L)

To achieve certification, each entity underwent an extensive, company-wide audit by an internationally recognized and independently accredited registrar company, QAS International. The audit included an assessment of the individual companies, quality management system development, management system documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances.

Aleut provides technology, infrastructure, construction, and environmental services to the Federal government through its operating divisions. By meeting the extensive criteria of these standards, Aleut demonstrates a commitment to quality, and a focus on addressing the needs of customers according to statutory and regulatory requirements.
