Aleut Awarded $50M U.S. Air Force SABER IDIQ Construction Contract in Guam

Tamuning, Guam. – ARS Aleut Construction, LLC (Aleut), a subsidiary of Aleut Federal, LLC, was recently awarded a Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirements (SABER) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) by the U.S. Air Force, Pacific Air Forces Regional Support Center.

This competitively awarded, firm-fixed price contract has a potential duration of up to seven years – including one, five-year base and one, two-year option period with a $50 million total contract value. Construction work under NAICS code 236220 – Commercial and Institutional Building Construction consists of general construction, modifications, and renovations of existing facilities and the possibility for minimal design (up to 35%).

The IDIQ will allow Aleut, a Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) program participant, Small Disadvantaged, and Small Business, the means to complete minor construction projects for military installations geographically located throughout Guam including, but not limited to Andersen Air Force Base.

Aleut’s bona fide office, located in Tamuning, Guam, will manage the contract utilizing RSMeans construction estimating database as the commercial pricing tool to streamline procurement and support critical government missions.
